How long does it take for my order to ship?
Orders are processed Monday through Friday and typically ship within 2–4 business days. Once shipped, standard ground delivery takes 2–5 business days.
Orders placed before 2 PM ET usually ship the same day. Orders placed after that or on weekends will ship the next business day.
What if the product I want is out of stock?
We do our best to keep everything in stock, but occasionally we need a day or two to restock.
You can use the “Notify Me” option on the product page to get an alert by email or text when the item becomes available. Or, email us at online@themodernchemist.com—we're happy to give you an estimate.
How do pre-orders work?
All pre-order items at The Modern Chemist come with an exclusive 10% discount. When you place a pre-order, the item is reserved for you and fully paid in advance. We’ll prepare your order and ship it within approximately 2 weeks. Once it’s on the way, you’ll receive a tracking link.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards are available starting at $25, never expire, and can be used online or in-store.

What if my order arrives damaged?
We’re so sorry! If your order arrives damaged, we’ll be happy to send a replacement or issue a refund.

We’ll take care of the rest.
